How to renew a certificate from a 3rd party CA

Hi All,

I'm trying to renew a certificate on a gateway that's signed by a trusted CA, but there doesn't seem to be an obvious way to do so

For the certificate signed by the internal CA you just click renew, fill in the details and it's done, but the renew button is greyed out on the certificate signed by the 3rd party Trusted CA and there's no option to import a new certificate or generate a new CSR for that key pair.

The only option I see is to delete the existing key pair/certificate and generate a new key pair and CSR, which would require having to reconfigure where that key pair/certificate is used and likely to cause an issue.

Has anybody found a way to update the certificate on the existing key pair?

Thanks

Gavin

We do not provide a way to "renew" an existing third-party signed CA.
You will need to generate a new CSR and have the CA sign it.
Since certificates validation always involves the CA (which is the same in both cases), it shouldn't matter that you changed the keypair (therefore shouldn't cause an outage).
