Hello,
We are running a couple of 12600 appliances with R77.30
We've been looking for how to query the values of System kernel memory (smem) stats, via SNMP but can't seem to find an OID that provides these values.
We can see that Hmem and Kmem stats are provided via the following OIDs:
fwHmem | 1.3.6.1.4.1.2620.1.1.26.1 |
fwKmem | 1.3.6.1.4.1.2620.1.1.26.2 |
But nothing for smem.
The main reason we'd like to have this, is so that we can track the memory usage of the FW Kernel, since we've found the OS memory usage is not very accurate in terms of how much memory the FW is actually using.
These statistics are available in both the fw ctl pstat command output and in cpview, but none that I could find in SNMP.
Any suggestion would be great!
Regards,
Danny
You can simply add these checks via Advanced SNMP configuration as described here.
Thanks! I'll take a look at it.
Was hoping for something more "built-in" to be honest
