Check Points Gaia Health check script has an uptime check that shows a warning if your Check Point system:
- was rebooted within the last 8 days
- wasn't rebooted within the last 365 days
Check Point releases Jumbo Hotfix packages multiple times a year that you should consider to install if they contain relevant fixes or improvements for your environment. It's fully ok that your Check Point systems only reboot after doing these hotfix installations.
Rebooting your systems isn't a guarantee for good system health. I suggest you run the Gaia Health check script at least once a month to check if everything is looking fine. Besides this you might also want to consider performing SNMP monitoring of your Check Point systems and other checks relevant for your environment.
