Full disk on MDS device

Hello,
I have an MDS device that currently has a hardware-level alert regarding the disk status.

[Expert@MDS:0]# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/mapper/vg_splat-lv_current 300G 295G 5.9G 99% /
/dev/sda2 291M 195M 82M 71% /boot
/dev/mapper/vg_splat-lv_log 28T 16T 12T 58% /var/log
tmpfs 94G 78M 94G 1% /dev/shm
cgroup 94G 0 94G 0% /sys/fs/cgroup
[Expert@MDS:0]#

From this partition, what type of “files” could we delete to “lighten” the load and prevent it from reaching 100%?
Thank you for your comments.

Hey bro,

Appears your root dir is full. try below command:

find /opt -size +500M

It will look for anything bigger than 500 MBs in /opt.

Bro
I applied the command from the MDS and got the following:

[Expert@MDS:0]# find /opt -size +500M
/opt/CPInstLog/aiops-on-board.log
/opt/CPsuite-R81.20/fw1/scripts/cpm_doctor_report14_04_2024-17_47_56.tar.gz

You know I could “delete” to free up space and prevent it from reaching 100%.
I don't want to delete anything and affect the device.

Do NOT delete anything database related. You can try do same command with 999 instead of 500.
