Exporting 'Users' and importing R80 to R80
Hi,
I have done a ExportImport of a old mgmt server running R80.10 using the python scripts widely publicised.
I imported in the same manner.
All is good - its not perfect as everyone says but it brings 70% across...
Apart from users 😞
No users or groups get copied.
Any simple ideas on how to export and import all users and groups across? We are talking users for remote access etc - not smart console users.
Thank yu!

It is possible to execute migrate export and migrate import under the same R80.10 version. With this way all settings of the management server (including the users) are taken over.

Why not use "migrate export" / "migrate import"?

VPN users do not have official API support but can be manipulated with generic-object calls.
As such, using migrate export/import using the official tools as Heiko suggested is best.
