Delete Old Policy Package via CLI

Hi There,

I have a requirement to delete old policy packages which has been created as a backup. I’m using R77.30 and since there are many policy packages need to be deleted the GUI is taking long time to delete with reference to sk15319.

I hope it’s possible to perform the cleanup via Management Center CLI. Anyone can please share the commands to perform this action.

Thanks in Advance

In R77.30, all the policy packages are in one file ($FWDIR/conf/rulebases_5.0.fws).
You would have to hand edit this file, which is not recommended.
You may be able to do it with dbedit, but I’m not sure of the syntax and I’m not sure you’d save any time that way.
