Conflicts in sub layers (upgrade MDM 77.30 to 80.10)

Hi Guys,

I am in the process to upgrade R77.30 Multi domain to R80.10. 

However i faced issue when the domain policy rules are converted to layers policy instead and it caused alot of conflicts in the rulebase verification.

How can i overcome this? I hope i do not need to manually re-do the rules as it will take alot of times as there are alot of domains to take care of.

Please advice.

Hi,

I would suggest to first run R80 Pre_Upgrade_verify tool and see what are the errors and warnings are coming. Try to rectify those errors with below URL.

Hi Gaurav,

thank you for the reply. I have run pre upgrade verifier prior to this.

i have checked that 77.30 whom does not installed jumbo hotfix wil skip the verify policy for hide rules.

once i installed jumbo on 77.30, i run verify and it showed alot of hide rules.

therefore the problem lies with 77.30 without jhf which skip the verifying.
