Compliance blade not fully working

hi,

The customer has activated Compliance blade on their management server, and we are observing two issues, that might be related.

First, scans rarely suceed, They fail after a while, with "scan unexpectedly ended. Please rescan" or a similiar message.

The other issue, is that we are unable to add or edit Best practices. All fields in the menu are greyed out. Only exception here, is that if we get a scan to succeed, we are able to add new best practices, but the rest of the menu is greyed out.

Interpreter process is running, license is ok, but we do see this in interpreter.elg:

fwlink::operator new: failed to allocate memory using fw_malloc.
malloc failed: Cannot allocate memory
fwlink::operator new: failed to allocate memory using fw_malloc.
malloc failed: Cannot allocate memory
malloc failed: Cannot allocate memory
fwlink::operator new: failed to allocate memory using fw_malloc.

fwset::operator new: failed to allocate memory using fw_malloc.

I am starting to think that a buffer might be full, or something similar. i tried increasing the heap size on the server and rebooted, but the same issue is still present.

Anyone has any idea what this might be?

It always helps to indicate the version if the management, including HFA level. Assuming you are running on the recommended one with the latest GA Jumbo, please open a support call with TAC: https://help.checkpoint.com

No worries. Please raise a TAC case, some debug is needed to see what's failing
