Checkpoint Multi domain Management server on AWS and Security gateway on premise

Hello Friends,

I am looking here to know how the communication flow work between AWS hosted Checkpoint MDS and on-premise security Gateway.

Also there is any standard document or SK from checkpoint for aboce setup, Possible challenges and prerequisites ?

Inside the SK there are is one limitation which i am unable to understand: 

Policy Installation from the MDS Domain level is not supported --> does that mean global policy or something else ?

That means initiating a policy installation from the MDS context as opposed to the CMA/Domain context.
