Change gateway Ip adress

Hi all,

need your help, I'm doing some test, we need to change IP address of the gateways but leave current IP address  in Console.

Example:

Environment is VSX:

Gateway1 IP 10.10.0.70 (Mgmt interface) --- new ip address

Gateway 2 IP 10.10.0.71  (Mgmt Interface) --- new ip address

Virtual VSX 10.10.0.73  --- new ip address

before all the subnet was in the same subnet 10.122.2.0

Console   10.122.2.254.  same ip address (Old subnet).

I have ran vsx_util to change  subnet.-

It's working but not very well, it could be that the gateways and  Console must be in the same subnet or not necessary ??

Best practices from checkpoint gateways must be in the same subnet (it's ok) but nothing regarding the console.

Regards and thanks

The gateway and management do not need to be in the same subnet.
Clustered gateways generally do need to be in the same subnet (VSX or otherwise).

And define "working but not very well."
What precise symptoms are you seeing?
Also version/JHF level of gateways.
