CPU time consumed by application

Hi,

There is sk43733: How to measure CPU time consumed by IPS protections.

Is there any tool (or manual way) to do the same but for application control?

In general: I would like to know what is the CPU cost for detecting application.

App Control uses the same engines as IPS.
If I remember right, the same tool will show if an App Control signature is using lots of CPU.

I don't think the report will show the specific application signature, but will classify time spent performing APCL under "PSL" and/or "APPI", or possibly "ASPII".

I believe TAC (with R&D help) can reverse that to the actual signature if necessary.
