Maestro Masters
Round Table session with Maestro experts
So sk169954 from Dec 14th lists R81 for scalable platforms as an existing release, including chassis-based systems such as the 44K as gateway. sk170425 lists the differences of R81 and R81 for scalable platform. And a lot of limitations still. (e.G. pim is broken again, after it was finally supported in R80.20SP Jumbo 295) Has anyone upgraded to that yet on a 40/60k chassis?
Having said that..this being a .0 (say: dot zero) release, I'd be very reluctant to jump at it immediately. There was talk in the CPX 360 Tech Lab about R81.10 being targeted and in EA for scalable platforms?
Hi Vincent,
From R81 we have the same code, however, it's still different ISO. Same code - mean same features, same jumbo hotfixes (no specific SP JHFs anymore), etc.
We do mention to unify ISO from R81.20 version.
Thanks
Hi,
Currently we're running R81.10EA for Maestro.
If you are interested, please mail to anatoly@checkpoint.com
Thanks
Just to clarify, from R81 there are no chassis/Maestro specific releases any longer.
Scalable Chassis and Maestro are supported as part of the maintrain release.
That said there are some chassis/Maestro related limitations we are working to resolve.
Really?
Isn't this SP specific?
