Maestro Masters
Round Table session with Maestro experts
I heard in a Check Point meeting that there should be a connection acceleration in the MHO in R81.10 SP or higher.
If a connection is assigned a special name in the rule, the MHO acceleration should take effect for it. This means that all TCP ACK packets no longer pass through an appliance, but are forwarded directly in the MHO. For these rules, a kind of access list is created in the MHO, which enables packet forwarding directly in the MHO. Therefore a very high packet throughput is possible.
This feature would be very interesting for one of our customer.
My questions:
Will this feature come?
What is the roadmap here?
I would think if this was coming as part of the R81.10 GA, we'd see mention of it in the various EA announcements.
It certainly sounds like a useful feature.
Hi @PhoneBoy,
Hi @Lari_Luoma,
Thanks for the quick reply!
I think this is a very good performance feature in 40 Gbps and 100Gbps networks.
Then I have to wait until R81.10, R81.20 SP:-)
There is no official comitment, but according to the R&D the timeline will be around R81.20.
