Can we use 1G SFP port between 2xMHO 140 for single site sync?

We are out of 10G SFP. Till the time we procure the same, can we configure the Sync port using 1G sfp? Will it work?

  MHO-170 and MHO-175 require 40GB or 100GB DAC cables or transceivers. MHO-140 requires a 10GB DAC cable or transceivers.
