Question: Fast rollback method from R82 to R81.10 on mixed Maestro SGM

Hi,

My Maestro Security Group consists of a mix of one SG6600 and two SG6200 appliances.

I am reviewing a scenario where I upgrade from R81.10 to R82 and might need to roll back to R81.10.
How can we perform a quick rollback during a production business day?

Also, I encountered this pop-up message on my SMO:

Snapshot not supported
WebUI Snapshot operations are not supported on Maestro Security Group
that contains different Security Appliance models.
Use the local Gaia Clish (clish).

Thanks!

You should use local clish on each individual SGM to revert to the autosnapshot that was taken by the upgrade procedure.

Do it in local mode - set global-mode off.

Thank you @emmap

From the SMO, I cannot see the snapshot file names; I need to check each SGM individually.

[Global] CPFW-s01-01> show snapshot list all
1_01:
sizeG

1_02:
sizeG

1_03:
sizeG

Since they all have different snapshot names, a sequential, one-by-one revert is required.

[Global] CPFW-s01-01> set snapshot revert [press tab]AutoSnap872953
[Global] CPFW-s01-02> set snapshot revert [press tab]AutoSnap870124
[Global] CPFW-s01-03> set snapshot revert [press tab]AutoSnap864134

Thank you @emmap .

This is the exact command I was looking for. 😀

[Global] CPFW-s01-03> set global-mode off
