Management CP memory is high
My CP6700 is 16G memory
The screenshot is showing your open server-based management. 6700 is a security GW appliance. How is it relevant here?
Can you run cpview and see what memory shows there? Also, top command would be useful.
Andy
I the cpview command to check
You are definitely running out of memory based on that. Can you please run top and send the output?
Andy
Output of free -m please.
[Expert@CP-Mgmt:0]# free -m
total used free shared buff/cache available
Mem: 15799 13151 311 465 2336 1470
Swap: 32184 5165 27019
[Expert@CP-Mgmt:0]#
Yeah 5GB into swap space (32%) on a 16GB box is not good but may be normal depending on what blades are enabled. Please provide output of enabled_blades. If the "available" number continues to fall to a critical level due to a possible memory leak the firewall will begin having problems.
Just so its in little bit more readable format, though I can sort of tell, can you send free -g? Seems there is only about 1.5 GB memory free...btw, does reboot free up any memory at all?
Andy
Also, ps -auxw would help too, so we can see whats consuming memory.
Andy
Hey @wasan_so , were you able to make any progress with this?
