fwaccel dos config on R81.20

Hi,

I ran into an issue with fwaccel dos config on R81.20 and I need some help.

According to documentation I am supposed to put any persistent settings into $FWDIR/conf/fwaccel_dos_rate_on_install

https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/R81.20/WebAdminGuides/EN/CP_R81.20_PerformanceTuning_AdminGuide...

However, when I go to the firewall and open this file for edit there is that big scary message at the top:

#!/bin/bash
#
# Automatically generated by fwaccel - DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE

...

So, where is the "proper" place for these persistent settings ?  Quick hack is of course /etc/rc.d/rc.local.user 😀

A part of me thinks this may now be automatically saving the commands to this file (versus needing to add them manually).
A TAC case I found confirms my suspicion.
Which means: no workaround necessary. 🙂

Thanks! Hope someone "fixes" the manual then. There are people not paying attention to comments in config files. 😁

i confirm that the comment is misleading, commands are lost after a reboot... i clean that file and i follow the guide to make persistent changes
