checkpoint not booting

Hi All,

 

I do have checkpoint 4600.recently it was upgraded successfully from R75.40 to R77.10 then R77.10.From yesterday i am unable to login to the device.its giving me below error.I believe its not booting.Please let me know,how to resolve this issue.Apart from this i am not getting any option on putty CLI.

 

 

 

Reboot and Select proper Boot device
or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key

Note that all R77.x releases are End of Support now.

Sounds like the appliance needs to be reimaged.
To resolve this, download the R80.30 ISO and a Windows tool called ISOmorphic from UserCenter.
Use ISOmorphic to format a USB drive with the R80.30 ISO.
Place the USB drive into the appliance and reboot.
Assuming the hard drive is not corrupted beyond repair, the appliance should now boot.

Also note while the 4600 is still supported, it is near the end of its lifecycle.
It may be better to replace this unit with one of our newer appliances.

Hi ,

I did using ISOmorphic for version R77.30.

Then it asked for boot.After 5-10 minutes,i could see unsuccessful message on my console.I don't have any clue how to fix it.

This device is just for LAB purpose.End of support.

I would suggest sk97251: Using the Check Point Appliance Hardware Diagnostic Tool. Looks like your HD is defective.
