akamai traffic from microsoft defender

When I see Detect re-transmission or Detect TCP out of sequence are we 100% confident Check Point isn't causing this traffic, or forcing a re-transmission?   Check Point is just reporting it informatively when we are on detect.  Correct, or is further packet analysis always required?  I'm seeing like 98 Million detects a day after turning on defender.

While it's generally not a firewall issue, there are elements related to the firewall that can potentially cause it (for example, issues with physical interfaces).
