VSX Environment Upgrade from R80.10 to R80.30

Hello all,

We're planning an upgrade to our VSX environment from R80.10 to R80.30.  Management and log servers are already running 80.30.  Just wanted to know if anyone out there have had any issue that we should be aware of.  Tips, tricks etc.  Any comment would be greatly appreciated.

We upgraded couple of weeks ago (23800 cluster) with no big issues during the upgrade process.

Three problems we faced afterwards were:

• increased CPU usage (fixed by disabling TLS parser)
• FQDN object alerts in logs when TCP DNS lookups were not explicitly allowed in rulebase from gateway
• Hyperthreading turned ON after upgrade (we had it OFF before)!
