We use VPN tunnels with remote devices. Now, if successfully connected but no traffic to hosts in protected segments, the connection is dropped.
Can we configure Check Point to make the connection from mobile devices (ios, android) hold for the required amount of time?

You have not stated what the "required amount of time" is.
I know you can set "permanent tunnels" with site-to-site peers, but don't believe this is possible with Remote Access.
