TIP - SmartConsole startup issues

If you experience issues launching SmartConsole after applying custom settings, you can delete the following directory. This will clear all local SmartConsole data, which often resolves startup errors and allows the application to launch correctly.

Doing:

 

  • Terminate SmartConsole.

  • Delete all directories and files in the following path (adjust username and version as required):

    C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Check Point\R<version>\SmartConsole\

  • Relaunch SmartConsole.
