Select Default Products for Landing page Recent Posts

This is a RFE for CheckMates Landing Page. In former times, you could easily monitor discussions as posts would stay longer in view without scrolling down a lot. But more and more posts are added in shorter and shorter intervalls, so i really would like to be able to select my favourite products in a list (in fact deselect the products i do not want tto see) and only these categories in the Recent Posts are presented to me on the Landing Page.

If i select a Product from the menue, all will be presented as it currently does, and only Recent Posts, not most popular nor featured posts should follow the selection.

Would that make sense for other people as well ?

You kind of already such a view based on your subscriptions.
Tap on your avatar in the upper right and pull down “My Subscriptions.”
You will see a list of topics/articles/categories you are subscribed to sorted by most recent activity.
You can subscribe to an individual board/category/thread by using the gear menu and selecting “Subscribe.”
You’ll also get an email when a new item appears in something you’ve subscribed to (depending on your settings).

This view could be improved, of course, as we never customized it from the default.

I do not see such a thing - have a look:

I want some page to un-/select e.g. marketing messages, API discussions a.o. topics - choosing the boards itself is very time consuming...

That is actually the screen to do it.
You can delete certain subscriptions by clicking the relevant checkbox and pulling down "Delete Subscription" from the three dots menu.
However, that does it for the item in question, which might be the actual board (versus a specific message).
Adding a subscription must be done from the item itself as previously described.

One thing that is definitely missing is the ability to subscribe to anything a given user posts (a.k.a. "Follow").
There's not an easy way to implement this in the current platform.

The relevant platform APIs for subscriptions only return the basic information shown on this page.
Creating something nicer will probably take some work.
