Realistic space and general hardware requirements for a lab

I am in a process of creating  lab environment that should be tailored to lowest possible hardware resources. In the process of going through R80.40 documentation, I see this:

R80.40_Space_Requirements.png

and it does not make much sense to me, since MDM is listed requiring less space than SMS or even a Gateway.

Can someone clarify, what can I get away with while running stable lab setup?

Thank you,

Vladimir

My guess is at least 100GB per domain/CMA.
I don’t think any of this includes slack space in the partitions needed for upgrades.

In that case, the gateway requirements do not make sense: why would those need 100GB unless you are running TE on the appliance?

It comes down to similar reasons: needing room to apply patches.
Remember every time you do a CPUSE, a snapshot of the root filesystem is taken.
Depending on the size of your root filesystem, 100GB is 2-3 snapshots.
