R82 - ElasticXL On Production

Hello,

I'm writing thise post which I planned to keep updated regarding a new implementation I will be doing in a few weeks using ElasticXL.

The reason I'm doing this post is because probably I will have questions along the road which might not be answered yet due to lack of real life scenarios.

This is implementation will be a Dual Site with 2 members on Site 1 and 1 Member on Site 2.

Now this implementation has some particularities as I have to start with Site 2 since the main site won't be available yet.

Also another challenge I will have along the way is that after is implemented I will need to change the Management Network.

I'll be updating as a I start working on it.

Initial install of the member of site 2 and presentation of the SMO on the management.

No challenges yet.

Update of this process.

We created the sites and went on production with Site 2 and 1 member due to the customer not having ready the Site 1.

In future days we'll be connecting the site 1, but in the process changes were made on smo so I'm not sure if it will replicate correctly.

Previous this change I need to resolve 2 issues and is:

1. I need to change the management interface IP address and the management IP address

2. Test the connectivity since the customer will deliver the management network adn sync between sites in a Lan-2-Lan link.

Just confirming you're using JHF 44 and aware of sk183481.

I wasn't aware of that SK... in fact I left it on JHF 43... will install 44 tomorrow.
