Suggestion: why not extend it to Smart Console admins?

From R81.20, SmartConsole supports authenticating with Azure AD (via SAML), which supports all that.

Of course.

However, not all environments have such identity deployments, among other possible restrictions.

Setting this up in GAIA is so easy and only requires an authenticator app, extending it to SC/Web SC would be an instant win. I tried using an MFA'd administrator with OS password, it works with just the password.

Given that we added this to Gaia OS, I assume we'll add it to SmartConsole also (likely a later version, though).

I checked R82 lab smart console and below options are available. Tested API key, works well.
