Maestro Madness
I have disabled MFA in User Profile > Security. However, every time I try to login the CheckPoint User Portal, the following "Secure Your Account" pops up and ask me to use authenticator app or phone for MFA.
How can I avoid this? I do not want MFA at all.
Or now it is compulsory?
Thanks.
Yes, you have to have MFA enabled now.
Yes, you have to have MFA enabled now.
Where should we complain about this?
You can do it here or talk to your local office. What's the issue, though?
This new requirement was rolled out with zero notice.
My company has multiple dedicated diamond reps. Big support contract. Still not big enough to add all of the individual users who need to call support as support contacts, so we have to use a shared contact for a bunch of them. The first person gets the prompt to set up the MFA token. Now everybody else needs the token code from that person to be able to log in. It's ridiculous and has substantially harmed our ability to get support.
For context are you using a shared or personal account?
