Is it possible to ingest and parse third party logs in Smart logs since it uses Solr

Hi Team,

Wondering if we can ingest third party logs into Smart log? Like specifically Windows logs or any other logs?

Since it uses internal Solr database and parsers wondering if administrator can ingest other logs using solr?

TIA

The answer is, surprisingly, yes, but not because it is Solr. Because you can actually process third-party syslog messages on the SmartLog side.

Look into Logging and Monitoring Admin Guide, section "Importing Syslog Messages"
