How to update JHF (VSX)

Hi guys, how do you update your JHF in VSX to the latest version? I have already experience with normal setup(Standalone/clusterFW) however, idk if its the same procedure? do you have a link or any recommendation guide?

Use the Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for... page depending on your version.

For example if you are running R80.40 then use Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R80.40 (R80_40_jumbo_hf):

With R80.40, you have Support for VSX upgrade with CPUSE in Gaia Portal. Lower versions would use CPUSE CLI.

command set for cpuse in clish is "installer.."

installer download (tab) then select JHF

installer verify (tab) then select JFH

installer install (tab) then select JHF

@chaymosphere ,

You can see more information about CPUSE, including it's CLI commands in sk92449

The cool thing about doing it offline via the CLI is the commands become deterministic. You never need to use tab completion.

  1. Copy the file to the server you are updating. It can be put almost anywhere. For this example, I will use /home/admin.
  2. Import the fix into CPUSE using 'clish -c "installer import local /home/admin/Check_Point_R77_30_JUMBO_HF_1_Bundle_T351_FULL.tgz"'
  3. Install the fix using 'clish -c "installer install Check_Point_R77_30_JUMBO_HF_1_Bundle_T351_FULL.tgz"'

Done.
