Hi guys, how do you update your JHF in VSX to the latest version? I have already experience with normal setup(Standalone/clusterFW) however, idk if its the same procedure? do you have a link or any recommendation guide?
Use the Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for... page depending on your version.
For example if you are running R80.40 then use Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R80.40 (R80_40_jumbo_hf):
With R80.40, you have Support for VSX upgrade with CPUSE in Gaia Portal. Lower versions would use CPUSE CLI.
btw, they are using lower version 😅 and it's r77.30 they are planning to update the CPUSE and JHF to 351. my question is where can I update the JHF in CLI too?
command set for cpuse in clish is "installer.."
installer download (tab) then select JHF
installer verify (tab) then select JFH
installer install (tab) then select JHF
May I also know if this is offline? and what directory will i put the jhf? or is this automatically downloadable via cli?
You can see more information about CPUSE, including it's CLI commands in sk92449
The cool thing about doing it offline via the CLI is the commands become deterministic. You never need to use tab completion.
Done.
thanks for the link but they are using lower version hehe
