High load average

Hello,

We're preparing to migrate our cluster from Open Servers running R81.20 to the brand new pair of 9100s running R82 Take 60.

No traffic is handled by the new cluster and not all interfaces are connected, but the average load from cpview already shows 5 (which is pretty high to me).

Anything to worry about?

Thank you.

This is totally normal and should not raise any concern. See sk180299 for more details.

Can confirm what Val stated, this is expected behavior when UPPAK is enabled on a Quantum Force 3900/9000/19000/29000 (use fwaccel stat to check), which it will be on a new installation (not upgrade) and application of the latest JHFAs for R81.10, R81.20, and R82.  In R82.10, UPPAK is the default mode for all gateway types (not just Quantum Force), regardless of upgrade/new install & Jumbo HFA level, and cannot be turned off.
