Find firewall version from configuration language version

Hello,

I only have access to a configuration export of a  firewall that looks like this:

#
# Configuration of fw01
# Language version: 14.1v1
#
# Exported by admin on Thu Jan 8 08:34:12 2026
#
set installer policy check-for-updates-period 3
set installer policy periodically-self-update on

[ . . . ]

Is it possible to get the firewall version via the Language version ?

Thank you !

That looks like the output of save configuration from Gaia.
While I never knew about this particular element of the file, it makes sense it would provide an idea of the version it came from.

I checked on a couple of my systems:

  • R82.10 is language version 15.1v1
  • R81.20 is language version 14.2v1

Which leads me to believe that 14.1v1 is likely R81.10.
