EOL EOS data from web api
Hi
This question is somewhat similar to the thread
https://community.checkpoint.com/t5/General-Topics/EOL-vs-EOS-question/td-p/54791
So the question is, is it possible to get end of life or end of support data from checkpoint management web api?

Your best bet is to do an inventory and manually compare it with the End of Support dates here: https://www.checkpoint.com/support-services/support-life-cycle-policy/
There's two factors here:
- Underlying hardware
- Software version
Note that R80.20-R80.40 all have the same EOS date: September 2022 (unless it's an SMB appliance).
Try one of the following to get an inventory (will require some additional scripting work): https://community.checkpoint.com/t5/General-Topics/How-to-list-all-gateways-with-HFA-version-in-CMA-...

Can you get End of Support/End of Life dates from an API call? No.
What is the precise use case you’re looking to fill?

That’s sad to hear.
So the client is looking to get the eol/ eos about 2-3 months so to plan and present to the higher management for upgradation. Let me know if there any possible workarounds(cli, webscrapping, etc).
PS: I’m currently working woth R80.20-R80.40 devices with api versions ranging from 1.3-1.6

Why exactly is that sad? API calls are backward compatible. Calls working for 1.1 will be working in 1.7 and higher. You probably are looking for something else entirely.
