DiagnosticView: Policy View

Hi

I have few question regarding DiagnosticView and cpinfo's generated on R80.10 / R80.20

According to article sk125092, do I need a management server if I want see the policies? Must this management server be fully licenced or not?

Is it really necessary to generate a migrate export file additionally only to see policies?

Can I see policies from any cpinfo files (e.g. customers send me cpinfo)

When I try to connect to my management server which I installed only temporally for testing and is running with an eval licence I get the message "Not valid licence". Does it mean the program discovered the management server is not licenced or there is a problem with the cpinfo / migrate export file

Thank you

Oliver

1- According to article sk125092, do I need a management server if I want see the policies?

yes - starting with R80, that is necessary!

2- Must this management server be fully licenced or not?

No, Plug n Play trial license or EVAL would be enough, but... (see 4 - )

3 - Can I see policies from any cpinfo files (e.g. customers send me cpinfo)

Only for CP <= R77.30 using InfoView

4 - When I try to connect to my management server which I installed only temporally for testing and is running with an eval licence I get the message "Not valid licence". After migrate import, SMS now has the license from customers SMS - you have to delete it and replace it by eval lic.
