Client authentication user has to re-authenticate after every policy install

Checkpoint Gaia R77.30 ClusterXL

Client authentication user has to re-authenticate after every policy install.

The client_auth table is cleared after every install.

Any idea?

Thanks!

You need to add the "keep" flag to the client_auth table in the table.def file on your SMS, see here:

In addition to R77.30 being End of Support, Client Authentication is deprecated in R80.x.
Highly recommend you move away from Client Auth and upgrade to a newer release.

Client Authentication is a legacy technology, ti is no longer updated. Please use Identity Awareness functionality as an alternative.
