Check Point Named Leader in Forrester Email Security Wave

In 2015, the founding team at Avanan thought that email security was broken. We thought that securing email in the cloud required a cloud-first approach. We came to the conclusion that the only way to truly handle the deluge of email threats required the use of sophisticated AI. 

This approach started a market movement, and it was validated by Check Point acquiring Avanan in 2021. Now called Harmony Email & Collaboration, our way off securing email has become the standard. Now, startups and legacy companies are deploying their email security via API, just like we did at the beginning. AI-first security has been the buzzword du jour. The market is coming around to our vision. 

It’s why we feel such particular pride for today’s announcement. We have been named a Leader in the Forrester Wave for Enterprise Email Security.  

The Forrester Wave process is quite thorough, requiring customer references, a detailed submission and a two-hour demo. It shows the analyst community our product in an in-depth way.  

We are particularly proud of this Leadership position for a number of reasons. We’re thrilled with the high scores we received. Here are some of the many categories we received top marks in:
