Greetings.

I’m currently running Hotfix 98 and planning to upgrade to Hotfix 105. During the package verification, I’m getting an error related to insufficient space in the /opt/cpdabackup/backup directory.

Could you please confirm if it’s safe to delete the oldest backup file (in this case, the first one in the list) to free up space and proceed with the upgrade?

Yes - upgrade tools and old Jumbos are not necessary! You should be able to remove the tools using cpuse. For Jumbos:

- uninstall ALL Jumbo Takes

- upon reboot, delete them all in cpuse

- install last take

Hi all,

I have similar problem, we are planning upgrade from Take 127 to Take 158, and we are getting verification error due to unavailable free space under /opt/CPda/backup

Is it safe to remove all previous folders in /opt/CPda/backup/ folder via expert mode (rm -r FOLDER_NAME), and leave only current take to free some space?

Also, I need some clarification what is correct procedure, do I need to restart CheckPoint management server or services after deleting folders to take effect.
