Can a MDS system R80.40 manage an IPSO R7.40 appliance?
We have a MDS server running R80.10 and we're planning to upgrade it to R80.40, but there are some legacy R75.40 IPSO appliances (IP390 and IP690) managed by some CMAs.
I saw R80.40 documentation at section "Supported Backward Compatibility Gateways", but it was not clear to me, because I see that it can manage "Security Gateways" from R75.20 and "appliance Security Gateways" from R77.20.
If I understood well I would have no problem managing these legacy devices, because by "appliance Security Gateways" I think it means the ones mentioned at the document.
I just want to be shure before planning the upgrade with our customer.
Thanks!
Best Regards,

Yes, you should be able to manage R75.40 IPSO gateways with R80.40.
The appliances in question are SMB models and use different builds, thus the distinction.
Hopefully you're planning to replace the IP Appliances as they are well past End of Support.
