Will there be a CPX in Vienna in 2026 or in another European country?

I heard about an event for the DACH region in Q2 2026.

• Inspiring keynotes from Check Point executives

• Networking with customers, prospects, and peers

Truth be told, been around CP almost 20 years, but never been to an official CPX before...I know, embarrassing : - (. Was supposed to go last year in Vegas, but I wanted my colleague to experience it, since he was super interested in cloud stuff.

O well, Im sure there will be an opportunity at some point.

CheckPoint make these announcements way too late (too close to the date of the events).
For many of us, getting funding, approvals and making the necessary plans to be out of the office takes time...

For smaller, in country events at least 3 months notice, and for bigger international events at least 6 months notice should be the minimum.

By the way, I'm not the least bit interested in hearing 'inspiring keynotes from Check Point executives'. I just want technical content.

Expert-led sessions and demos etc. are all very welcome. 

Is it the intention to cover the same topics and sessions at each of the Engage events?

10 city global tour - I presume the majority will be in the US, which doesn't leave many for UK / Europe and the rest of the world.  Many of us are I still going to have to travel to another country, which from a logistics and cost perspective doesn't really change anything. So please announce destinations, dates and costs as soon as possible so people have a fighting chance of being able attend and making the events a success.

For the record, I am not in charge of these events, but this is something I can say with high certainty: the main goal is to deliver the content similar to the customer-facing CPX events to more customers around the globe.

That should actually help the participants and require less travel costs.

We do plan technical tracks there. The topics will be the same or very similar. The assumption that it will be mostly in the US is incorrect. AFAIK, several events of the same kind are planned in Europe and different parts of Asia/Pacific.

Here is the official answer:

In 2026, CPX will shift from one large event in each geography to a regional series of events called Check Point Engage.

This evolution allows us to optimize our interaction with our most important audiences at a more targeted, localized level. Global cities and dates to be announced soon and we look forward to seeing you there!
