Bridge Mode and Monitor Mode usage on same security gateway

Can I use Bridge and monitor modes on the same gateway with r80?

The problem you typically run into in this configuration is what we call double inspection.

Namely, traffic that goes through both the bridge and the routed interfaces.

This is NOT supported and traffic will be dropped.

If you absolutely must see traffic on routed and bridged interfaces in the same gateway, you will need to use VSX with different VSes for Routed and Bridged traffic.
