APCL & URLF inline layer - creating exception

re: 81.10 Lab environment

I am trying to figure out how to create an exception for an item contained in a pre-canned Application object.

In this case, I have setup APCL/URLF to drop all "News/Media" content. This works as expected.

I would now like to make an exception for 'cnbc.com'. Rule 21.4 in screenshot below is what I thought would work, but didn't. I have also tried creating a rule above 21 to allow the domain object '.cnbc.com', but that did not work. I have also tried setting up a Global Excpetion for the same domain object '.cnbc.com' and this did not work either.

What am I missing?

Thank you.

Ah, thanks for the nudge.

I had tried Custom Application/Sites, but only with static url ( .cnbc.com ) and that did not work. I went back and followed sk165094 for https and Custom Apps/Sites as seen below and this worked.

Note that a domain object will only allow access to whatever (www.)mycnbc.com resolves to.
The proper way to do this is using Custom Application/Sites.
