2200 appliance rebooting
Hi,
Last few days one of my 2200 appliances keeps rebooting.
Yesterday and the day before I could see nothing in crash dump.
Today there was nothing in the dump, however after the reboot the appliance sent an email notice about a hotfix.
Could update/hotfix check be causing a reboot?
The appliance is set to send logs to management server, how do I view them?
Cheers all and hope everyone is ok in these trying times
Wayne

Look into GWs var/log/messages around reboot time. Try installation of R80.40 Jumbo HotFix - Ongoing Take 87.

How much memory does it have, is it a 2GB version or is it a 4GB memory B-version.
As @G_W_Albrecht said look at the /var/log/messages files, however when it is set to be 4 x 64k it is of little use, you can increase the size and the number of files for history information by using this command that will change the size to a 2 MB file and keep a history of 10 files, the command takes immediate effect:
/bin/log_start limit 0 2097152 10

Hi,
There is an issue with 2012 appliances that have 2 cores, that was solved in JHF83.
For more info you can refer to sk169575.
Thanks,
Ilya

It hasn't rebooted so far, but it did it at various times over the last 3 days.
