hping/netcat removal from R82.10

Is there a reason the very useful Linux tools hping and netcat were removed from R82.10 GA when it was updated to kernel 5.14?  Hopefully, this was just an oversight. I assume the answer is not for security reasons, since nmap was left in!

Today I learned nmap exists in Gaia OS.
In R82.10, netcat can be accessed with nc (newer version).

hping does not appear to be present.

R82 CCTA exam had a hping question, guess that one has to be removed 😂

Looks like nmap was added in R82.10.

/usr/bin/nc is a symlink to /etc/alternatives/nc, which is a symlink to /usr/bin/ncat. Probably best to use ncat directly.

An R82 management has 208 commands in its $PATH which R82.10 doesn't, and an R82.10 management has 216 commands in its $PATH which R82 didn't. Among other things, R82.10 adds a bunch of utilities for working with files compressed with bzip2 or zstd, lots of junk for systemd (my beloathed), and tools for building RPM packages (?!).

I generated cping - a hping replacement for R82.10+
