MTA didn't send Non-Delevery-Report

Dear folks,

I have a cluster runing R82 + JHF-73. On this cluster AV, Anti-Bot, Threat Emulation, Extraction and the MTA is active for e-mail security.

With the hint from sk112821 - "Threat Emulation Blade Support for Password-Protected Archives",  I change the settings for encrypted archives from "fail-open" to "fail-close" (tecli advance error set archive_pass_protected fail_close).

Now, e-mail with encrypted archives as an attachement were dropped.

Unfortunately, the MTA / Postfix didn't send a NDR to the sender of the e-mail.

Adding the two lines:

  • bounce_on_blocked_file = true
  • bounce_sender_address = "no-reply@abc.de"

to "mta_security_config" didn't solve the problem.

Any ideas?

Best regards
Christian

Are you making the changes in a manner similar to: https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk178385

No, sk178385 is talking ab "mta_postfix_options.cf".

I have added the new entries in "mta_security_config".
