Your Live Patch Updates Are Here: New Playblocks Automations

Many of you have asked for better visibility into Check Point Live Patch (CPLP). I’m excited to share two new Playblocks automations that turn Live Patch events into clear, actionable notifications.

✅ Notify on Check Point Live Patch applied
Get confirmation when a patch is successfully applied to a Firewall or Management device. Choose a notification for each device, or an aggregated summary showing how many devices received the patch during your selected interval.

🚨 Alert on Check Point Live Patch issue
Get an alert if a patch is reverted, is not fully applied, or its package fails to install. The alert includes the affected device and patch details, and you can optionally open a ticket for follow-up.

Together, these automations help you answer two questions: Which devices received the fix, and which ones need attention? Notifications can reach your team through the channels configured in Playblocks, including email, Microsoft Teams, Slack, and SMS.

Both automations are now available in Playblocks.

Find “Notify on Check Point Live Patch applied” and “Alert on Check Point Live Patch issue,” configure your preferences, and enable them to get started.
