EVE-NG Login Page directly instead of GAIA OS

Hello CPmates,

I have an eve-ng lab with a CP version 81.10. After start up the device, it prompts me directly to the login page instead of GAIA OS. I saw a lot YT videos and all setups go to GAIA OS. Do I missing something or is there any way to login directly instead of passing through GAIA?

I would just set the port of the gaia portal to a different one than 443. Or have I misunderstood your question?

As EVE-NG a lab simulation I cannot change the port. I could use telnet, VNC or RDP. Any of this protocols towards me directly to the login page.

I'm not able to include 8443 port because eve-ng is a lab simulator and we have only a few options like VNC, telnet and RDP. Either of that is towards me directly to login page instead of GAIA OS.

I feel Im king if eve-ng, as I use it ALL the time lol. Let me check one of my labs shortly and will update.

I verified and there is really nothing related in eve-ng hosts settings, like you would have say on vmware. Now, can you verify what is default gateway and the IP assigned to eth0 once box is booted up?

Where can I see the assign ip address to eth0? I even cannot login to the CP host because it's asking me login user and pass and I don't have it.

The initial login/password should be admin/admin.

I tried a lot of user and pass in the below list and nothing:
- admin / admin
- admin / Test123 (with initial capital and lowercase)
- admin / Test_123
- root / root
- root / Test123
- root / Test_123

Hey team,

Just to update quick, Luiz and I did zoom remote and below are my notes. Seems this has nothing to do with actual creds, but rather the fact when new VM is started, does not give option onstall tab, but boots up right away. Luiz will try follow below link and let us know.

-checked eve-ng host config
-we wiped the node and tried again
-tried installing R81.10
-same problem, gives log in right away
