Checkpoint backup encryption

Hi Checkmates,

can I know whether the checkpoint database backup (migrate export) and configuration backup are encrypted or not?

Not encrypted, only sparks have this option (Gaia Embedded). Normal GAIA gateways do not have encrypted backups. Migrate export from mgmt is also not encrypted. Would be a RFE i think

Usually, you use an encrypted transfer method (like sftp) to transfer the file off the device.
If you want to encrypt it after that, then you can use whatever tool you wish.

Unfortunately, I am not aware of an on-device encryption option for files.
