Tech Tip - Security Gateway temporary freeze due to high CPU utilization on a single core (sk185068)

Hi All,

Have recently had two customers impacted by this issue so wanted to alert others accordingly in case it's relevant for them.

I won't replicate the full SK contents here in favor of keeping things high-level and concise as reported by those impacted.

Symptoms:

• High single core CPU
• OSPF instability
• Internet degradation
• Firewall system responsiveness

Please review the SK for more information and approach TAC (with a cpinfo & hcp) for the hotfix where relevant.
