Hello everyone,
I'm looking for some guidance regarding an issue I encountered after upgrading my Check Point environment.
We have a **Quantum 7000 Cluster** running **R81.10**, and I recently applied **Take 187** to address the latest VPN security advisory/CVE.
After the upgrade, all of our remote users who connect using **Endpoint Security VPN** (including **Harmony Endpoint VPN**) started experiencing the same issue: the VPN establishes the connection successfully, but disconnects again within a few seconds.
Here are the troubleshooting steps I've already taken:
* Upgraded the VPN clients to **version E89**.
* Change configuration accept ikev2
* Applied the recommended Windows registry changes.
* Applied the equivalent configuration changes on macOS.
* Tested with multiple client machines.
Unfortunately, none of these actions resolved the problem.
Interestingly, if users connect using the **Check Point Capsule VPN** application from the Microsoft Store (SSL VPN), everything works normally. The issue only affects Endpoint Security VPN clients.
Because this issue impacted all of our remote users, I had to roll back the gateways to the previous image, and VPN connectivity immediately returned to normal.
Has anyone experienced this behavior after installing **Take 187**? Are there any known issues with IKE, Endpoint Security VPN, or Harmony Endpoint that could explain this? Is there anything else I should check before attempting the upgrade again?
We are planning to upgrade the environment to **R82** soon, but that project will still take a few days to complete. In the meantime, I would really appreciate any guidance or recommendations.
Thank you in advance for your help!
