JHFA version in smartconsole

One thing I have been wanting is to see the JHFA version in smartconsole.  I found an article today that mentions that starting with R81.20 JHFA 38,  It is viewable in the Gateways & Servers area.  I was unable to find it.  Is it buried somewhere or is the article incorrect?  The management and gateways have newer JHFAs installed than 38 on R81.20.

See option 3 below...

  • How to check the Take number of the currently installed Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator (if it is installed...
    1. On R81.x and higher with Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator, run this command in the Expert mode:

      cpinfo -y all

    2. In Gaia Portal (CPUSE) > Upgrades (CPUSE) > Status and Actions.
Use the filter near the help icon and select "Installed" packages.
The installed Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator will appear in the list.
    3. Starting R81.20 Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator Take 38, you can view the installed Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator Takes in SmartConsole > Gateways and Servers.

Interesting.  The 2 clusters and management are all R81.20 JHFA 105 and above.  Strange that it doesn't show it on the gateways on Smartdashboard for these systems then.

I forgot to include it but they all show the recommended JHFA... it is just the current JHFA that it doesn't show.

I found this article which seems relevant.  The solution seems a little different than the article you pointed to.  Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.  I will give it a try on the next maintenance.

SmartConsole does not display the installed Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for Security Gateways

My customer has the same issue with R82 SMS JHF 126. I'm planning to follow sk184851.

Since our SMS is in HA, do I need to perform this on both servers, or just the Active SMS?

Thanks !

I don't know about HA SMS.  I still haven't made the changes myself yet for the single management setup that I discovered it on.  It just hasn't been a top issue yet.

The article sk184851 that I pointed to references version R82 at the top but the content seems to show searching to see if you have jumbo 89 installed from R81.20 for the issue.  That would be really odd if an R82 management showed that it had an R81.20 jumbo 89 applied.  I assume that is just an error in the article but I don't know.

The only difference between the two articles for single domain management server seems to be that one only restarts the services needed and the other one does an api restart and a full cpstop and cpstart.  I kind of like the idea of the full stop and start of all services and that article is the only one that lists R81.20 as a version affected so I will likely perform the original article sk168572 that Lesley was kind enough to point me to.
